Why is one of Ontario's largest Automotive Group sponsoring a cycling event?
Despite our obvious automotive affinity, The Humberview Group (HG) is a company full of hardcore cycling enthusiasts. We love to ride, and the opportunity to turn that passion into a mechanism that helps raise money and support for important events like this one is a no brainer. HG has a long-standing relationship with the Trillium Health Partners Foundation. They do important work in a variety of areas, including Mental Health, which continues to be our focus for this ride.
The opportunity to give back to organizations, events and life-saving causes such as these is not just a privilege it's a corporate responsibility we take to heart, each and every day. Your help would be greatly appreciated; please consider a donation to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation. Ride on.
Diligently serving customers and causes for over 30 years, we at Gears are passionate about connecting to community, purpose and meaning through the platform of cycling. We absolutely love selling, servicing and riding bikes with our customers that we often consider our friends and family. During our journey we learned that physical activity contributes greatly to improving the quality of people’s lives and mental wellness.
We are honoured to experience “One Great Ride” with OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique, Olympian Curt Harnett, the Humberview Group, Badge of Life Canada, and Trillium Health Partners in support of mental wellness for first responders and all members of our communities.
"Mental wellness is not a destination, but a process. Having something to do, someone to love and something to hope for are important elements for balance." ~ Kevin Wallace
Looking forward to riding with you this September 12, 2020 for One Great Ride!
